About Reuters

**Note: To be fair, given our own bias, descriptions below (if any) are from the 1st paragraph in WIKI. It is rumoured Wiki leans left. Reuters (/ˈrɔɪtərz/ (audio speaker iconlisten)) is an international news agency owned by Thomson Reuters.[1] It employs around 2,500 journalists and 600 photojournalists in about 200 locations worldwide.[2][3] Reuters is one of the largest news agencies in the world.[4][5]

The agency was established in London in 1851 by the German-born Paul Reuter. It was acquired by the Thomson Corporation in 2008 and now makes up the media division of Thomson Reuters. ~Wiki
