Pierre Poilievre is upending B.C. politics without even trying
Article also discussed how it went downhill for BC Liberals after they changed it’s name to BC United, but I think it failed to drive-home they most likely did so because the Trudeau brand is poison. No ifs or butts, we could all see the writing on the walls, and Canadians tried to vote Trudeau out for the past two elections giving him the lowest vote share. Thus, and rightly so, BC Liberals didn’t want people to confuse them with the federal liberals (they did anyways). I agreed with this change too when sadly, they were the only other viable party to vote for – at that time. However, I feel the problem is much deeper, and it’s something about this party that has always rubbed me the wrong way. BC Liberals (opportunist name for starters), known for being left & right of centre. But who needs that wishy-wash that promotes infighting and historically it has! And then there’s BCU’s leader, Falcon, BLEH, just months ago in all his arrogance, he didn’t even care what the polls said. I bet he’s noticing now.

I believe BC as a whole is more Conservative than people think. It really was a shock NDP won a majority — Yet people were just that fed up, as it’s no surprise how many actually thought BC Liberals were also Trudeau Liberals lol. Laugh is on us though, as Trudeau snuggles up to the NDP too!
Okay BC, we tried a mixed party for decades, we tried an orange wave – now we’ve been stuck with an UNELECTED Premier that refused an election. It’s time! Time for a majority true, principled blue wave!
Get us out of this hell — And so what if we ride Pierre’s coat tails, that’s okay, not like the other parties don’t when the wave is huge! I enjoyed the article, and hope to see changes in BC! The fact we are contemplating leaving this beautiful province is a real shame – once unimagined! We need to see some STRONG leadership with housing, crime, immigration and health! It’s brutal
